This work is set against the backdrop of Qing dynasty biographical stories, using virtual installations as metaphors to represent characters. Through the language of digital imagery, it visualises the imperial palace as a stage for power struggles. The narrative intricately explores the spatial and relational dynamics of the characters, revealing their inner conflicts and emotional tensions beneath the surface of political intrigue. With a digital media storytelling approach, the work creates an atmosphere of desolation and tragedy under the oppressive weight of imperial authority.

To bring this vision to life, we constructed the entire setting in Unreal Engine, creating immersive digital environments that enhance the storytelling. I was actively involved in 3D modeling and animation production, while also being responsible for shot filming and directing visual effects.
